Looks great ! I agree with the other comments about it being seamless, that addition looks like it was built when the house was built. Very nice work.

Very nice build and excellent job. It was very professionally done. Is your roof pitch 5/12? What size window did you install on the front of the garage?

The house roof pitch is 5-12. The back part of the Garage is 5-12 the forward facing section is a bit steeper.
The window is 28x45

I am trying to figure out door framing for my upcoming garage build and had a few questions for you.

#1 - How wide is your stem wall? I was planning on using 8" block.
#2 - How wide is your jam? If I had an 8" wide stem wall, my garage door jams would need to be 8", which seems deep.
#3 - What size garage doors do you have and what was the finished door opening for the doors between stem walls?

I used 8" block with 2x4 walls. Jams are the regular 4". 8' doors, the finish size is 3" smaller due to the trim board.

Thanks Steve, It's been slow going lately. Half the interior sheeting is up. I have a few weeks off over the holidays to try and finish it up.
