Hello I am planning to seal my drive way with ghost shield 8500 (to save some money) and my garage with ghost shield 8510.

Do I really need a densifier (ghost shield 4500) for my drive way?

Can a regular Home Depot pump sprayer handle solvent based 8510?

Problem with that sprayer style is even distribution of product. I used a four gallon backpack style with the lever pump. One could get a consistent pattern produced. I used the small ones like that for the acid stain, 4 colors, and random patterns. Densifier helps to seal up the pores in the concrete so more good stuff at the upper surface. I would densify all concrete and consider the 8510 for all surface. I used the 8505 and have been impressed with its performance.

Thank you both! Didn’t grasp the seriousness of these chemicals while I was reading the application instructions. Just so I understand do both 8500 and 8510 contain fluorines or just the 8510? I will use a respirator! Obviously health is more important. So is your advise to use a roller to be on the safer side and prevent flying chemical droplets?

I'm still kicking and I didn't use a respirator ;)

I used a sprayer from HD to do mine, don't recall which one. It did come with viton seals / orings.
sprayer still works and I use it for weeds ;)

Ghostshield does recommend the densifier 4500 prior to using the sealer. We sell the densifier in 95% of our sales of sealer.
