Garage Apron Heaving

Before I moved into my new place the concrete is pretty well cracked across the entire slab in various places.
I had thought this is due to the garage floor heaving in the winter.
However it now appears that the floor is not and was just part of the standard settling with poor base.

I now have my apron in front of the garage heaving. Currently it is 3/4" above my garage slab. Some older realtor photos look like it was almost an 1.5" above the slab at some point
Here's what the apron looks like before heaving.

Is there anything to remedy this besides replacement?
I had placed backer foam and silkaflex between the slab and the apron, but that's almost now entirely separated.

You can grind down the section that is heaved, if it's settled you can get a company to use foam to bring it up but I have no clue what that would cost. Thats a small driveway; probably cheaper to demo and re-pour.

Sikaflex is a good product and stretches quite a lot.
