Sitting in my shop this rainy morning I realized that there's humor (sort of) in some of my garage art.

1- Exit, Hot Car Girl - No Riders!
2- Feel free to smoke next to the explosives cabinet
3- Is everything the way you left it? (good grief)
4- Stoned sign maker
5- Some sign painters are more wordy than others; paid by the letter?
6 - I despised working on that rust bucket

More garage art "humor"

1- Watch the puddle, not the arc
2- Actually, that heater's supported by a plant hanger, a GI belt clip, and a chain
3- This is apparently not "Paw Paw's Garage"
4- Grinders are the most dangerous tool in the shop. Say a prayer.
5- Smokey says only you can prevent grease rag fires
6- Presiding over it all, and seeing no humor in anything, my resident Garage Monster lurks in his lair in the rafters

I can also easily change my customer service policy depending on which friend/relative stops over and what project they have in mind. I just open the bench storage door 2" and voila.

I have a road sign that reads "Are you ready to blow it" referring to motorists who would be using breathalyzers if suspected of a DUI when they were first introduced. Its NOS, they realized the error of their decision before hanging them in the public.

Last week I ran a 2" screw through the web of my hand and into the wall, striking a 240V power line. I jerked back from the pain, knocking the car off the floor jack and into the paint cabinet. A 5 gallon pail of outdoor carpet adhesive fell and spilled all over me, the car, and my cat Ringo. I was hanging a "Safety First" sign.
