Garage attic has insulation it. But on top of that there is plywood. So there is storage up there.

I'm losing alot of heat through the ceiling. Not sure how to go about insulating it better with that storage space up there. Any ideas?

Getting ready to put a 30k btu natural gas heater in the garage and dont want all that heat melting the snow on my roof instead of heating my garage.

Rip up sections of ply and blow in more insulation. If the ceiling is not covered with drywall or if is and it's not taped and sealed, then the first step is to seal all air leaks in the ceiling and the top of the walls. You have to stop the air moving up for the insulation to do its job.
