Garage bar project

So yesterday i found an ad on craigslist for a 12' retail shop counter and they were asking 50$ for it. After driving an hour and fifteen to go get it then the same to come home i got it in my garage. I started by disassembling it because it was basically an 8' counter with 4' of 2x4s on it as an extension.

Anyways long story short i took a notch out of it and put some boards under it to lift it up a bit and here is the not so "finished" product.

I plan on either painting the base or adding some corrugated metal.

Very nice start. You need to add the brass foot rail for starters.

I like the basketball hoop to bad the ceiling isn't higher that would be perfect. I'm a fan of indoor basketball.
