I am building a garage/barn that is 32'x48'. The first floor will have 11' ceilings and the second floor is the one in question. I would like it to be almost like an apartment type of floor in the way that I would like it to be as liveable as possible.
My questions is..how can I get away with spanning this far(32') without using posts on first floor. Probably a pretty basic question but I am not that seasoned....!!
