I'm wanting to seal the area between the cement and the drywall. The attached picture shows how the drywall is almost even with the cement at the raised portion (closest to the door to inside the house - left side of the picture), and then the drywall stays at the same level and the garage slopes out towards the garage door (6" drywall to floor in the picture with it sloping to 7.5" from drywall to cement floor at the garage door - right side of the picture).
I am debating whether it would look the best to caulk entire gap or add a pvc/azek baseboard. If I add the baseboard, would one continue it in a straight line at the gap even when the cement floor drops down (baseboard would be above the cement floor)? Or would a combination of having the baseboard when it would sit even on the floor (on the left of the picture) and then just caulk the area where there is a large gap between the baseboard and the cement floor (area where it slopes from 6" to 7.5" from floor - right side of the picture)?
