Garage build 2015 --- 36' x 28'

Hey, I just started building my garage and wanted to share with you my project.

Here's the spec:
36' length by 28' width
13' ceiling cathedral
8' x 8' doors (there's 2 of them)
Heated floor

Beginning the plan that I draw:

Now my first door, the first one i've ever installed with no plans lol. We go with the feeling:



I modified my rail to fit with my ceiling:



And today how it's look!

So, for now my project is kinda stuck..

I'm gonna receive my door and windows within 3 weeks...

My 2 garages door are now completely install.

I'll start my exterior I think.

What kind/type of truss is that you're using? Looks better than the typical scissor truss.

Yep, it's why my ceiling is 13' high!

It's a standard truss, cathedral type, we use to have here.

So today I ordered my vinyl siding KAKI color.

So for now i'm not working on my garage. I have to finish my house. I am reinsulating the house and changing the vynil sliding too. More to come.



And yes its not clean, its a total mess.

Great looking space! I just posted about those same openers in my build thread too. So looking forward to seeing yours installed. How much headroom do you have above the springs and shaft?

Just bought myself a summer toy.

So, nothing really new.

I bought a compressor 60gal. 3.2hp Husky Pro. I had a deal.



And my 2 doors openers are installed. They are really close to my ceiling.

It's been a long time since I updated this thread.

So the SRT has been sold quickly and I found my self a new project.

It's a 240Sx 1996 that I plan to do a sr20 swap. There is a lot of work to do on it, even if it's not rotten like hell.

Here it is at home after a 8 hour drive (yep I did Shawinigan - Toronto to get this car)

Then I found a front clip with everything I needed

That is all for the project car, now it's the garage!!

So,a friend of mine renovated a grocery store, he found me fluorecent for my garage

After I installed 5 of them

8 in total, it bright in this man cave!! Perfect for working!

Cleaned up a little bit

I needed to have a heating system for the winter, so I found this

I've been able to complete my heating radiant floor for cheap money!
