Thank you!
I will say that anyone considering the soffit storage build (a huge thanks to Garage Journal as I would have never thought of it) ..

1) Its a lot to build. Especially with lights, drywalling, building the doors/track system. More time and money consumed than I thought.
2) Awesome. Best thing I did, my garage is only 19' deep and the soffit is like free space. I have so much stuff up there and it is completely hidden. Especially if you are the type to stock up on stuff (I have jugs of synthetic and icing washer fluid up there right now) Plus drill cases, etc.

Nice work, I have been thinking of doing a built in closet like yours. Could you post a pick of the inside of the closet?

Sure!
Here is the one in the front left of the garage, has the air reel (compressor is in basement) and for now ladders and what not. It is sized so that my Cman roller box will fit inside.

The one on the front right of the garage was built because of the ceiling notch. For jack/ rarely used tools, and gang box for drill chargers on shelf.

Adding to this - about to start construction on a 10x16' shed that was OK'd by the HOA. So all my "stuff" will be going out there and the garage for cars and auto tools only.
With that said- this garage is the best thing I have done to our house. Everything has a place, and its a great joy to have such a nice place to work on the toy cars.

I will post some pictures and progress of the shed in this thread also :)

Impressive. The soffit space really seems so worth while, I know you'd said it was way more than you thought it would be, but the outcome seems like it provides so much otherwise "dead" space for use.

Tile looks great.

Thanks guys. The soffits are amazing, along with the large workbench and closets. I am shocked at how much storage the garage has that is hidden. I can put everything away, detailing stool, shop-vac, etc. Can't wait for the shed to be done so that the garage floor will only be for cars :D

Tuesday Night:
Finalized where its going to be, and marked out 10.5' x 16.5' area

Dug down 4"

Last night, 3 ton of gravel delivered in road (sidewalk blocks off my backyard entirely). I shoveled and hauled it into shed area. Today = a little sore.

Been Busy!

Wrapped up for a few days while busy with work...

Picked up a Pella Double Entry way door for $300 at lowes as a special order return. Probably the nicest shed door ever. Lol

I pick up the siding next Tuesday, along with the Shingles. Goal is to be 100% done by Friday evening. Trimming the corners and soffit with Cedar to match our house. Have about 30 pieces to paint. 2 windows and front door to install
BTW - Menards sale price on Cedar was 40% of the cost compared to Lowes!
