Garage build with tricky rules

Hi guys, I'm planing out my garage build and trying to make it as functional as possible while staying within the city rules. I live in wisconsin so it is defiantly a cold weather area.

This is going to be my work shop and I would like a two post lift for working on my truck I also do a lot of fabrication. That being said the rules I have to abide by are as follows.

1. 8' walls

2. 7' max garage door

3. 1024 sq. ft. Max.

I was very disappointed about all of these rules but I have no choice but to follow them. That being said I'm starting to leasn towards...

1. A post frame construction building.

2. 32'x32'

3. Some sort of vaulted ceiling. I could put the lift between ceiling joisdts somehow maybe.

4. Instead of a "garage door" maybe have a wall that slides sideways. Not sure how this will work with heat.

Any tips on how to get around these rules would be great. Oh asnd I would love to move out to the country where they don't have rules but that's not an option. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. The only problem is 7' is so low my truck may have to put small tires on it to get it to fit after after I solid axle swap it, I would like to be able to pull into the garage without changing tires first. This is not a problem yet but could be when I'm done building it, just trying to avoid future issues. 7' just seems so low.

There was a thread about RV garage, I feel like I saw a door in there, that looked like a wall, but folded up or some thing like that, I will find it.
