Hello all thanks for having an awesome page to post and read on

I have been needing and wanting to build a garage forever and have done lots of research in the past but I'm limited to my phone for internet so I am hindered a bit .

I am currently wanting a 30x30x12 simply due to the available room I have or I'd go bigger and I'm not set on the 12' tall due to $.

I just bought two buildings that are stick built inside a warehouse and is all pretty new lumber / insulation/ 4 walk in doors/ a 10x8 garage door/ and a new electric overhead heater....

One is basically 15'8"Wx36'Lx11' tall built with 2x6's and has thick plywood inside and out and had new galv. Tin inside due to welding has elec. outlets , heater n lights throughout

Next one is 9'4"x41'x10'4"T all 2x4 with plywood inside and out and insulation

Both have electrical boxes lights wiring outlets etc

My questions are what's the best way to build a 30x30 or even a 20x30 size building with what's there cuz they both have flat roofs and I have a one car garage that is packed so That I don't have to get a storage needs to stay up till garage is built and then swap my stuff and tear it down so I can always build down the drive 25 more ft later

I know it's long so I'm sorry but I don't know how else to explain n the buildings I bought are being dismantled now to save the wood etc

I'm defiantly ready to burn rubber on this thing n get it built !!! :3gears:
Thanks everyone

Any way of putting them together like they are? **** them up to each other(Remove roofs) and cut the one down to 36' giving you a 24X36. BTW welcome from a fellow Missourian!

I have thought of that only problem is they are being dismantled to haul 45 miles .... And one is 2x4 n one 2x6
I actually done some searching on here n thinking about the past n I think I should try the "laminated " posts n do the 2x6 posts where u stack 3 n I had been told before to buy cca ones for the ground but only make em 3-4' tall out of ground then nail and bolt in the reg 2x6 for the height I want n that saves from buying expensive cca 2x6's that are 12' ish tall or 6x6cca posts etc ..... Then I will not have to buy posts and I have a bunch of reg boards from them both so the rest of 2x6 can be used for sides and 2x4 for roof n maybe if enough stuff do a 32 deep x 30 wide instead so the plywood inside lines up better per sheet so I been told I would go 30x 40 or 50 but my existing garage is in way n I can't afford storage then wouldn't have tools lol but I figure I can always add length later n make it 40-50-60 long 30 wide once the lil garage is swapped and moved

N hello fellow Missourian thanks for the comments I'll take all the ideas n help I can get. This site is awesome already !!
