Garage Cabinets

Could somebody recommend a good quality garage cabinet? Something that is approx 6' tall for storing paints, oil, etc in. Here is an example of what I am looking for.

I have the Gladiator cabinets just like that one. I haven't had a single problem with it. The shelves hold a good amount of weight. I've got a bunch of stuff in them and the shelves don't seem to bow at all. They seem well constructed, and they look pretty cool. They lock, but it wouldn't take much prying to get into them I don't think. I just happened to get a fantastic deal, which is a funny story. I was looking at one of those cabinets at the home store when the manager came by and said, "I'll make you a good deal on those, but you have to take the whole set today." I asked what was included. It was two of the large cabinets, two small floor cabinets, and three wall cabinets. I said, "What's a good deal to you." He said, "How about half?" I said, "Why? What's wrong with them?" He said, "Some rich guy had them delivered and assembled. He sent them all back because one of them had a small dent and the other had a door that wasn't adjusted right." Lucky me, I got about $1500 worth of cabinets for a little over $700.

The tall white one works well. It is about $200 at Ikea, and weighs about 150#. Very sturdy.

I'm using Steelcase (office furniture) cabinets. The appear to be heavier and higher quality than what the box stores sell and seem to sell for well under $100 on the used market.

I have the Gladiator Cadet cabinets installed. They are different from just the Gladiator brand...the biggest difference being that the Gladiator Cadet (by Stack-On) cannot be mounted on the wall slat system made by Gladiator. Since I wanted them up off the floor, I mounted them using the french cleat system. That turned out to be much cheaper as well! Another difference is that the Cadet line is already assembled. I got a smoking deal on mine from Menards a couple of years ago. I'm happy with the amount of items and weight they hold, and they have a nice look.

The all black wall cabinets are cheap ones from Harbor Fright. I wanted something that was shallow since I park cars along the wall. You have to assemble them yourself - which is sort of a pain since they aren't of high quality. Once all put together though, I think they turned out pretty nice. They at least fit my needs perfectly. I added pull knobs so I didn't have to use the key every time I wanted to open a cabinet. And I also put magnetic strips to act as a catch and help keep the doors from swinging open when not locked. And by hanging them with the french cleat system, I can utilize the pegboard backs if I wish.

I probably went overkill on my materials for cleats, but I didn't want to take any chances.
