Hello All,

Moving into our new house and while I decide on garage floor coverings and regardless of the coverings, I would like to have decent regular size car mats.

Are there any recommendations?

I need atleast 4

Thanks

Might sound stupid, but when at my local Southern States farm store I saw a stack of rubber horse mats. I would have guessed they were about 3x5 or 4x6

About 1" thick and very sturdy. Put 4 together and you would have a good size mat. They weren't that expensive either

yes Tractor supply has those horse stable mats- I actually used them to built a weight lifting platform- They are super sturdy and heavy, never thought of using them as car mats but i am sure they can work

Tractor Supply gets my vote for the most durable mat, i have 3 in my garage and nothing hurts them, they are so dense that oil spills stay on top...Just a note that they are very heavy...Tractor Supply has a sale now and then, so keep an eye out for it...

Think twice about spending your money on horse stall mats. While they are comfy to walk on, they will deteriorate and sometimes get gummy or sticky from oils, gas, and chemicals that like to break down rubber.
