I had an opportunity to pick up 3 laptop charging cabinets. They are pretty sweet units. I am not sure exactly how I will use all of these, but the first one will hold 3 bench top drill presses. The idea is that I will be able to move a part through, drilling, taping and counter sinking with minimum bit, and speed changing. The first of the presses will be my variable speed mag drill on a stand that was made from broken variable speed delta (it was cheep).
I have an old floor press that will get cut down to work as a bench top also. Then I will be on the hunt for the third unit. There should be enough room for bits and vises below.
Ideas so far for the other carts are a down draft grinding cabinet, and support for a box and pan brake.
This will be a slow project, but this is the progress so far.
Cheers
