Well tonight i went out to the mancave to do some work and noticed some water on the floor. It is coming from the bathroom floors above the garage. It is just fresh water itself, right now we are in the process of doing a lease to option on the house. Obviously the water leak needs to get taken care of which is fine, the only downside to it is that the celing needs to be ripped apart, i did notice that they had an issue before and they used a piece of wood to cover up the giant hole that was left behind.
I know when we put an addition on my parents house the building inspector said that fireboard drywall sheets need to be used, and this is fine by me since we are going to buy the house in the future. But my main concern is in the future of any other leaks with the plumbing after the walls and celing are all done and painted, i do not really want to tear down expensive boards and go thru it all over again.
Im sorry if this sounds confusing i am tired and have been up 21 hours LOL.
Thanks for any insight on options to go with.
