Garage Ceiling Storage Racks

Cheapest I've seen on these. Just ordered 4 of them. They look better than most of the others, 6 vertical supports instead of 4, heavier hardware, etc.

I thought about it, but upon searching the reviews the Saferack models sound like higher quality, and often go on sale at Costco for $250 for two with accessories. But these are priced cheaper, and if you can't wait these may be the way to go.

Not sure those are any better. They have 4 vertical mounts instead of 6. Both have 600 lb capacity. It also looks like it uses 1/4-20 bolts from the manual, where the fleximounts rack uses larger M8 hardware. Finally, the fleximounts version has the wire rack welded to the frame which makes it stiffer. The Saferack has a separate wire rack which is not secure and could shift.

Notes from Saferack manual (How do rivets back out anyway?):

Placing the Wire Decking
•Take the wire decking and place it on the rack unit (Figure 25).
•Wire decking remains in place by gravity and can slide freely side-to-side.
•There will be a small space between each deck (Figure 26).
•Take one last look at all of the rivets to make sure they have not backed out
during the installation process.
