Just wondering what color to paint my new garage? Anyone have a great color they love or just paint it beige or gray?

Light colors reflect light better. So if you're working in there, you'll want a white ceiling and light-colored walls. Some people put a darker shade down below a belt line, sometimes with a color stripe at the junction point.

My walls are a kind of tan and my cabinets are all green, which gives my little garage an unusual look.

Do a search through the Garage Gallery. There are as many different opinions as there are minutes in a day. Everyones taste varies.

I was all set to prime and paint the inside. I do like the warm color of wood - always have. Once I got a bunch of OSB on the walls and started covering most of it with shelving, cabinets, tool boxes, peg board, etc - I decided to just leave it. It would be nicer if the OSB didn't have the ink printing on it, but there is so little of it exposed that it's not a big deal. The wood will age over time and it seems to lend a old school effect to the walls. I've been fortunate to have some kind of shop since I was about 10 - really - and none have had any kind of inside finish. Father and grandfather shops were the same, so I may just be pre-disposed to the look. That said - if the walls were sheetrock, it's be white.

My garage will have white ceiling and walls with grey cabinets, closet, benches and bottom 30" of the wall. I also will have a thin blue line to separate the grey from white on the wall.

Then add a few Milwaukee Brewer Logos and I am golden!

Use a lighter color on the inside, it will literally be night and day difference.

There's also a blue stripe between the colors to break them.

Go to the hardware store, and see if they have any mixed up that didn't get purchased. You can usually get if for dirt cheap. Light and cheap gets my vote.
