Garage design help and feedback

Hi all,

I'm in the process of designing and having quotes for a garage.

I want to build a 45x30ftx16ft (though height not firmly decided).

What I want from the building is:

Room and height for a car lift.
storage area for project cars
possibly a 2nd floor mezzanine floor area (this was not on the original want list but as normal, things snowball...)

I've decided on a steel type structure, in the UK some companies do cold rolled c section buildings, though I have quotes for hot rolled agricultural type buildings also.

Here is a handy 'to scale' paper plan I made to moved components around, I am preferring the 2nd option, with the one larger roller door and lift to the front right...

Firstly can anyone comment on my layout please.
Secondly, any tips when considering a lift, ground works required for this or the mezzanine idea. I'm starting to think 5Metres to the eaves is getting a bit tall for where I am, though rural I do have neighbours to consider.

Hi,
I'm limited on size due to costs but thanks for pointing out something I kind of knew, the larger the better!

Can anyone else comment on this or advise on a similar sized garage and the layout they decided upon?
