Garage Door Alternative

I have a walk out basement with a garage door that is about 9' wide and almost 7' tall. I would like to replace the garage door with swinging doors at least 8' wide. My bro-in-law suggested steel commercial doors such as those made by Ceco or Steelcraft. I need to retain the ability to park a car inside but would like improved weather protection and no overhead tracks.

Has anyone gone this route? Any ideas on cost? I'm in Cleveland OH if that helps.

I thought about roll-up doors but I don't think they're insulated well and they take up lots of space comparred to swing-out doors.

The doors are recessed in about 12" plus there is a 24" soffit, snow doesn't pile up there and I'd have no reason to open the doors in the winter as this is my basement not my main garage.
