Garage door bottom track for seal

How safe is it to remove garage door track and replace it with a new one mines broken and has old seal i can't get out thanks!!

when you say track , are you talking the track that holds the bottom seal or the track that the door runs in ?

Just checking not sure if it'll mess up cause I think there's a wire attached next to it so should I be good?

Do not remove that!

This will IMMEDIATELY release spring tension and likely injure you or break something. Those red screws are red to note DANGER.





I don't think you have to remove that to change the seal anyway. Open the door and look up at the seal, it should be clear. If not, call a professional.
