Probably some of you have seen this but I haven't figured it out yet . . .I have tiny styrofoam bits collecting at the bottom of the garage door tracks on both sides. I'm guessing that this is the inner panel insulation deteriorating. At first I thought that maybe a mouse or some termites had started to bury into it, but then it wouldn't show up on both sides. Thing is I can't figure out where is is coming from. I suppose the next step is to pull off some panels and find out . . . .

Anyone seen this before and if so I'm assuming I can purchase new insulation panels?

Rodents do like to chew up styrofoam for entertainment, so it could possibly be a mouse living inside the door. If so, the mouse would push out the styrofoam bits wherever he can to make his "garage" larger inside.

No garage is ever large enough. :)
