Garage Door DIY Options???

Hi,
Has anyone gathered their own parts and made a 4 track, 4 door, sliding screen door for a 2 car garage???

Trying to build something nice without breaking the bank, also must be able to still park car inside.

Any suggestions appreciated!

I need to order new doors for the house and workshop but can’t stomach the new prices. My suggestion is to buy a used door off marketplace and dress it up. Around here you can find used uninsulated ‘contractor’ doors that are a year or so old for a couple hundred bucks, tracks and hardware included. Add rigid foam board to the back and paint or panel the front. That’s still far cheaper than going with a new door and a lot Less headache than trying to build from scratch.
If you did want to start from scratch I would build the panels similar to RV/Camper walls. Construct a frame for each panel from aluminum square or rectangle tubing, fill with foam board, great stuff the edges to secure it. Then laminate both sides with Azdel, and the exterior with fiberglass.

Just sharing my thoughts, hopefully some other members will have better ideas.
