Door does not close without holding the close button down for entire way down. Originally did close by just hitting button one time. How do you aim the eyes at the bottom of the door frame from one side to the other? Not sure this is correct way to express it but there are two small brackets, one at each side that have wires connected to them with a small thing that looks like led light that should aim at each other. Kids were moving stuff around and think they hit one and knocked it out of wack.

Use a tape measure, measure up and out from the wall, match the other end. If they are bad, you can find replacements online, I had to replace mine on our garage door at home, they were about 21/22 years old

You can just tape them together a put them on top of the opener.

Better have good insurance and lawyers if you go this route! Just realign the sensors also check your wiring connections, may have snagged the wire. Then sit down with the culprits and explain to be careful around them and those are there to protect them. That goes for the Adults as well.

Yeah, usually one or both will have a LED when they are aligned. Check the sensors that there's no debris covering them. Also I've had some flaky where they just used wirenuts to tie the low-voltage wires from the sensor pigtails to the longer wires that run to the garage door. I soldered and used heatshrink tubing for a solid connection. But I could sit there and jiggle the wire and watch the LED go off & on...

Now that's a real good first post.

On my Liftmaster the orange light stays lite but the green will toggle on and off when the beam is interrupted. When I installed them I had the same issue and both lights were on but the green was real dim. I moved the sensor around to see the green light get brighter and it worked fine after that. I measured off the floor when installing them but the floor is about 3/4" out of level across 16' so I moved sensor up and got brighter light and all is good.
That's my experience with them, good luck.

On mine the afternoon sun would hit one of the sensors and mess it up..
I just realigned them 1' off the floor and it fixed the problem..
