Installing a 16'w x 10'h Thermocraft garage door.
The door came with a generic installation manual. It lists hardware that I don't have or need for my application, and also includes a bunch of extra hardware- most of which is self explanatory.
Of that extra hardware there are 2 fairly thick steel plates. There is no mention of the plates whatsover in the manual nor is there any documentation on the thermocraft website that says what they are for. I've tried google image searching for garage door hardware and installation setups to figure out what they might be for, but can't seem to see them pictured anywhere.
Does anyone know? It's the two plates to the left and right of the sharpie. I am aware what the center support bearing bracket is for off to the right. I figure I would ask here first and if that fails I'll just email thermocraft. Unless someone threw in some extra parts just to **** with me?
Thanks!
