Garage door help/opinions.

I thought I had a free 8x7 garage door to go between shop and cold storage side. That appears to have fell through. Now I wish it was bigger but too late to change. I got quotes on a door and they’re basically all $1600-$2000. Higher than I expected. It needs to be a vertical lift, or lift straight up. I’ve found multiple doors on marketplace in great shape for a couple hundred bucks. Can I get new tracking to make it vertical lift? What’s your thoughts on this? Or should I **** ot up and pay a door place?

Of course. You'll need the appropriate spring(s), pulleys, and cable lengths as well.

All sectional vertical lift doors are exactly that. They're regular doors that have been installed with the special tracks and the special torsion spring setup.
