I recently opened the ceiling of my garage up. Now I am trying to get the garage door to work. The problem is I have to have the door hug the 33 degree roof line The springs I used do not keep the door up at all. I think if I use tougher springs it will pull the garage door up.

I do not think there is enough room between the door and the roof for a torsion spring setup.
not sure what I can do any help is appriciated.
the door is hugging the roof line where my father is standing.

You need stronger pull springs. The weight of the door is now remaining on the springs since it doesn't move into a horizontal position on the top tracks as before where it presented no pull against the spring.
