Didja ever notice. Even the nicest shops I have seen here all have the door track hung with that crappy steel channel. Generally with extra long ends and sloppy looking mounting. Go back to the gallery and look at even the nicest garages and you will still see that same strapping and angle. I am looking for any photo's/ideas of really clean installations as I will be retrofitting mine soon.

I like it, I see nothing wrong (or ugly) about the way garage door track is hung. JMHO

I agree- especially if your ceiling is high.
That's why I'll probably do a commercial style roll up instead of a sectional.
Maybe I can have someone airbrush windows on the roll up to match the 3 car sectional doors that will be next to it.
