Garage door installation help.

I just put up my metal ceiling and now have an issue with my garage doors. The supports should be running perpendicular to the ribs on the ceiling, but obviously they cant be solidly fastened to the truss without some modifications.

I had planned on just cutting the couple ribs so the angle will fit tight to the truss, but before I did that I thought I'd see if anyone else had any ideas.
