Has anyone used a garage door insulation kit that they like?

I'm worried they either won't do anything, or will fall off and be a hassle. Plus, they don't do anything to seal gaps between the panels. Can you put weatherstripping in the cracks?

I was looking at this kit. For $120, that's a lot of money for a few sq ft of thin fiberglass, and goes part of the way towards a new insulated door.

This one costs about the same

Also you need to have the same type door for it to work, look at video. Better to go the extra mile toward a decent door. Also if you present door does not seal pretty much air tight, your better off putting $120 into air seals.

NASA tech

R Value 8.0 ? Extremely difficult to believe anywhere near this R value.

Home depot, more believable.....
