Garage Door issue (flashing light)

So the light on my garage door, I finally got a bulb in it and found that it is blinking consistently while closing...It's not a set number of times and it's not as though it is not closing --- but it's just got a constant flash while closing until it is done closing...

It's an older Moore-o-Matic unit that I'll be replacing within the year, but it works great and has been reliable since we've moved in.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Naah - not a flicker.. It's only while closing and not opening, and it's got a def. consistent pause between the bulb going on and off. One person was thinking I should check it for a setting to see if maybe it has something to do with a safety feature to let people know it's closing but I doubt that.

I'd see if I could round up a manual for it, and see if there is some documentation on this. It may be an 'alert' that the door is closing, but I've never seen one do that before!
