Garage Door Motor

I need to install motors on my roll up garage doors. These are the doors I have. Could someone guide me on the type of motors I need.

I think if you google "opener for roll up garage door" you'll find what you need. Here is one I found, although I have never installed one it looks pretty straight forward.

Damned near any motor of sufficient HP will work. I think the deciding factor on what you buy depends on how much you wanna customize the interface between motor and door.

I know someone that works for a commercial door company that makes doors similar to these and can get you some suggestions and/or ideas. What are the door opening sizes?

Door with black tape?
Door with tube core?

You know I saw a newer style washing machine at the JY recently.. I made a mental note because the motor was unlike anything I've seen on an appliance. It was like a really beefer ceiling fan motor style/setup. Makes me wonder how well something in that style would work. It'd be space-saving that's for sure.

Three phase motors are easily reverse able, the industrial plant I worked at used them.

You have a single door, right? For a commonly 9 x 7 ft. (2.7 x 2.1 m) door, a ½ HP or 500 N motor will be sufficient.
