Who has them and how do you like them? What kind do you have.
I would like something with a door way. I am wanting to turn one bay in my garage into a dual zone work/party space. Thank you in advance.

There's another member that has these and he lives in Georgia. He had to have them custom made and shipped to him.

They can slide to either slide

I put one of them up on the maintenance bay door. Really a nice addition as it still allows the breezes to come into the shop, you can see out really well, but folks can't see in very well at all.

Purchased online via http://www.garagedoorscreens.com/

They have a lot of bells and whistles that can be added on... I simply bought a one piece screen with velcro at the top and bottom and some grommets down the side. Put velcro across the bottom inside of the door, attach the screen and then lift the door. I use bungee cords at the bottom through the grommets and then to the door track support.

In this photo I have my Tacoma up on the Rotary lift... but you can just barely see the bumper of the truck from outside the barn

I carry the lifestyles garage door screens. You can check them out here http://www.lifestylescreens.com/ and see if there is a dealer near you.

They didn't offer those back when I got mine. Those do have some advantages but one issue is if car are in garage they might get in way when trying to use. One issue with mine is opening and closing them to move vehicles in and out. With that said they are still well worth the the advantages they give me worth the disadvantages.

I do like the looks and the way they work.

I have one on my door. It is great. No bugs in my garage and also keeps leaves and **** blowing into the door opening. Velcro to mount the top and sides. Has zippers on both sides. Unzip and roll it up to get stuff in and out. Cost me $160 cdn. Heavy duty, quality screen material. Got mine from here http://www.garagescreens.webs.com/

In upstate new York, those are affectionately referred to as "Italian family rooms." They commonly include a carpet that gets rolled up to one side, a ratty couch, a couple TV trays, a beer fridge, and tube tv.

I've been looking at this style. The attached garage is used for mostly storage of kids outdoor toys, freezers, and occasionally for getting the vehicles out of severe weather. The plan is to sheetrock the garage, add full height cabinets on 2 walls, cealing fan, and a/c so when the inlaws come over (there's a lot of them), we can roll the picnic tables in and have a large dining area away from the mosquitoes and flies

I really like this setup. Do you have the inside or outside mount?

A buddy of mine's elderly father bought one of these 5-6 years ago...

He had his two other sons install it with him. He wasnt feeling all that great so he went inside to take a nap. When they were done he came back outside and looked around.

"Good job, just too bad you two idiots didn't think about taking the car outside first."

It's one of those models you put in for the whole summer and remove in the fall.

Worst part of all this is the boxes with the screen door parts were in front of the car, so they had to manoeuvre over and around the car during the installation. 5 years later the two brothers are still bickering about whose fault it was.

I nearly peed my pants when he first told me that story. :D

I'd gladly buy it even if it's a bit pricey if that means I get to keep the garage. The mrs. Was talking about enclosing the garage for a large dining room until I said it wasn't an option and we'll go with the plan explained in my previous post. She seems to think there is endless room in the shop and the garage isn't needed. Her family gets together a couple times a month for Sunday supper. He parents, 4 siblings, their spouses, and all of their terrible children lol. It's a circus!
