Garage Door Opener Wiring - Inside Walls?

Hi,

I am working on cleaning up some of the wiring in my garage. At the moment, the garage door opener wires are stapled to the drywall so they can be seen from inside the garage.

I am interested in fishing these wires behind the drywall for a cleaner look but would this be against code?

Thanks,
Matt

No problem doing that. It would be class 2 wiring, just don't put in the same conduit as line voltage wires and you'd be OK. (No conduit requires for this stuff...)

On my newly constructed house the GDO wires are all behind the walls.
