I have an issue where, when power is restored to the garage door opener it will cycle. This is really only an issue when no one is home and the power goes out due to a storm. This was never really and issue before since I was the only one that used the garage but now that we are renting the house out its made it on to the must fix list. I suspect that the issue is related to the SkyLink Universal Remote Control Kit. I installed the kit after I moved in so that I would have a remote.
I was wondering if anyone has seen this issue before and if there is an easy fix or if anyone has any recommendation on better add on remote openers. I have looked for remotes that match the opener but since it was a cheap no name brand installed by the previous owner I couldn't find any good info on it. Any recommendations that you all have would be appreciated.
