We have the old Shop almost cleaned out and transferred to the new building.
Wifey wants to use it for a Garage for her Car. It has a Craftsman Garage Door opener on it for about 15 years. I have no idea where the Remotes are?
Are these replaceable or is it too old to find? :dunno:
Hate to buy a new Opener but if that's what it takes to keep her happy......

Does it have dip switches on the back? I ordered one for my stepmom on Amazon and it was just a matter of making the dip switches match. I believe it was a craftsman though more than 15 years old.

Step 1 - get model number from opener
Step 2 - google it

Ideally you'll find a manual and it will tell you what type of remotes you need.
You can also check ebay because sometimes people sell them there and will
cross reference the model number.

That is good to know, because I have become distrustful of anything from Sears Roebuck.

They were a great company and were well respected, back in the day.

Liftmaster has a remote that can adapt to many vintage models, including craftsman. The 3 button is nice if you have more than one door with different age of openers. Can’t remember the model number but I believe it has max as the suffix.

All you need to do is look at the back of the opener. What colour is the button? Once you know that, you know what openers work with it. Craftsman/Chamberlain. If it's 15 years old, it will be orange (older) or purple.
