Any suggestions on garage door screen systems (10'x10" and 8'x10') other than the velcro-type systems?

These type screen (in a roller that fits over thge door) run about $300 for a 10X10. The velcro types are about half the price. For sporadic use I think I'll opt for the velcro type (that can be screwed to the overhead) with the ability to unzip and roll up and tie back when not needed.

Either style is available from The Garage Store...and don't forget the 10% discount for board members during the month of August. Promo Code: TGJB

I put a $20 one up...BUT I did it a little differently. I can't afford to lose any height going into the garage (16x7 door), so I mounted the screen to the bottom panel of the garage door, right above the bottom support that runs across the door.

When it's not in use, I roll it up, secure it with a few canopy ties, and it just sits on top of that support.

Plus, there's no ugly *** screen rolled up under the header for everybody to see.

I use these screens:

When first installed & down (the wrinkles worked themselves out after I put the PVC in the loop at the bottom):
