Garage Door "screens"

Hi All:

I'm in the very infancy stage of a garage build (26x28 or 28X32) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with garage door screen systems?

I don't have a screened in porch and living in an area (NW WI) that the insects take over after 5:00pm, it would be nice to open up a garage door and keep the lil, buggers out.

From what I've seen, there are some that roll up and down and some that it appears is a custom built frame that fit the garage door opening.

My current vision is to have 2 garage doors instead of one large one.

Thanks

JJ

When I lived out west a lot of people had stuff like that because they used the garages as entertaining spaces I think most home centers have something like garage door screens available.

Pretty sure harbor freight is carrying one of these for cheap as well. I feel like I saw it in a circular of theirs. No need for it here in San Diego. I leave the doors open without much worry.

My parents have 1 stored above one of the doors of their garage.

I don't recall it ever being used and intend to rectify this some time. :D

I have one on the back garage door of my shop which faces the yard. Before I retired I used it quite often on spring/summer nights to cut down on bugs in the shop. Now I don't use it at all because I am not in the shop after dark.
