Anyone use, know of or experience Door Screens
for your garage? Information on a company called,
"Fresh Air Screens"? Concerns about sticking units
to a garage in Dallas, TX area with the extreme
summer heat.

It's probably different since you live in Texas, but those things to me look like a pain to put up and take down.

no way, they are awesome! one of my biddies has one on his garage that my mom actually made for him (remindes me i need to ask her to make me one one of these days...) and its just velcroed on to the outside of the door. His was all white so they used white velkro to get the jod done. sticking was not going to happen so on the screen had its male end sewn on and the female side was stapled to the opening. Works really easily keeps the bugs out and lets the breez pass on through. Very great investment in my honest opinion

I would think it would be better to use a zipper instead of velcro. Over time the velcro will stop sticking together. Happens all the time on my Army Uniform.

I have one on my attached garage and it's great at night. Get the cool breeze without the bugs.

Mine velcros up on the sides but has zippers when it's rolled up. I put some screw eyes above so when it's rolled up small bungees keep it there.

I think mine cost around $80 to build. Comes out in 2 pieces.

My s/o says we NEED one of these. It would have to be for a 2 car garage that we can pull down. Anyone see any retracting versions that are somewhat cheap? Doesn't need to be motorized, but retractable where we can manually pull down.

This is a great idea for any garage!!!

Thanks for all the opinions and information.
I have done some research but was looking for
personal "unsolicited" opinions. Will keep you
posted, but it seems this was just put on back
burner after some house plumbing needs.
