garage door seal gap

Hi,

I had the seal at the bottom of my door changed because the old one was worn and flat. After changing it I had issues with the door not staying closed. It would go back up. I adjusted the force setting and it now closes but I have a gap on one side of the door. With the old worn out seal I didn't have a gap. I'm getting ready to epoxy the floor and wanted the seal to be as good as possible. The floor has settled on that side about 1/2 inch. I've noticed that when the door closes the seal is compressed all the way across the floor but the door bounces up a little bit causing the gap on the one side. I have a liftmaster 3800. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Thanks,

Gary

Gary, I haven't noticed my door "bouncing up" after it closes and I have a 3800 also. Maybe I should look at it closely. Does this happen for anyone else?
