Hopefully this is the right place....

I have 2 garage doors from 1999, Model 735 and 535 from kaiser and koch.

I am looking for new bottom weather seal. Having the hardest luck.

As far as I know I have a P-Bulb style. I have found something highly close but not exact as the Widsor P-bulb seal...here is are the specs

In a video by Northshore Commercial, they say the Widsor will fit models 735. Am I to consider model 735 is the same between manufacturers?
I thought maybe kaiser and koch sold out but they are still open. Coincidentally in my town, Tucson AZ

Going to Widsor, they list K&K as a dealer.

Anyone have insight? I will call Kaiser tomorrow, but I don't expect much help.

Normally on doors that don't have standard bottom seal retainer, we put on a seal that screws on. We get our seals from our distributor who gets them from Advanced Plastics out of Chicago. I don't believe they sell to anybody but dealers, but don't hold me to it. Normally we have to buy a whole box at a time if it is something out of the ordinary.

I was doing some looking and it looks like they may carry exactly what you are looking for, it's part number PB-100. http://www.advancedplastic.com/products-bottomseals.php

Maybe there is a dealer in your area that deals with Advanced Plastics who can help you out. Or can offer a universal seal in it's place.

What kind of seals are available for a steel one piece single tilt up counter weighted door?

Bill

Haven't got a clue there. I have only seen a handful of doors like that and we don't work on them. Wish I could help.

Kram thanks for the input. I did find the PB-100, folding version of the Widsor seal during my searches.

I think I will probably just buy 9" of the NSC stuff and give it a try. It is cheaper.

I am not sure what advantage a folding P seal has...maybe its easier to install?
I can imagine me now, cursing to high hell while installing the PB-100.

I don't know what the advantage would be, never seen a door that required a seal like that.

One tip I will give you, spray some WD-40 or a similar lubricant in the track where the seal slides into, it will make your life way easier.

I don't see much of an advantage of a P-Bulb either.
Probably driven by profits.

My house was a custom home built in 99. Almost everything I have to repair is odd or unique.
