I have a garage door opening that is wrapped in rock. This makes it impossible to install the standard flapper style seals. I could tighten up the door to the frame, but this is a slippery slope. Too tight and you wear on the aluminum door skin, can also create stress on the garage door opener. My question is: have any of you seen or aware of a slippery faced foam or something I can put around the door frame, allowing the door to seal but not come in contact with the wood?

Seal the interior....not as good as the outside....but with stone/rock on the outside it definitely makes it more challenging. I bought the same weatherstrip to seal the top of my 2 doors and very glad I did. Should be able to do the same on the sides/jambs as well, of course cutting at the panel joints and having more seams but the concept should work as long as your track standoffs are far enough away for that weatherstrip to seal
