I'm looking for suppliers to buy sectional garage doors from. Google isn't very helpful I get the manufactures of the doors but they don't sell them or I get local companies who make their money installing the doors.

I want to just buy the doors and install myself.

I want matching doors sized 9X7, 16X7, 10X10, and 12X14, so "commercial" doors.

thanks

Around here, you have to find a local retailer for whatever product line you're looking for. Manufacturers often have "dealer" lists. I always have the doors installed, but I'd imagine that there are some places where you can simply buy the door.

Another thing to try might be to contact your local steel building manufacturer. If they don't sell doors direct, they should have lists of people who do.

I'd stay away from roll-up doors, I'm just doing panel doors from here on out.

I should have said I'm looking for sectional doors, I don't like roll up doors

I bought my building from Mueller and they only have roll up doors, but that is a great idea I'll check some of the other metal building suppliers.

Menards, Home Depot, Lowes all sell sectional doors. Menards and Home Depot sell Ideal/Clopay doors. Lowes sells Wayne Dalton. My local installers will also sell doors direct, but I found they are more expensive.

Just Google "garage door installers near me". Different installers sell different brand doors. Some of the more well known brands are CHI, Hass, Clopay, Raynor, Amarr, Horeman, Doorlink. There are many others - depends on the region of the country sometimes. Typically best to stay away from Wayne Dalton, they do things differently than the rest of the industry and repair parts can get expensive.

Most installers will be happy to just sell you the doors but you might be surprised how little they charge for installation, particularly when multiple doors are involved. You aren't going to buy doors direct form the manufacturers, it's not their business model.

There are many online sellers of garage doors, but often the prices are not great with freight shipping. You can sometimes find brand new old stock garage doors on Facebook Marketplace.

I looked at other metal building suppliers and roll ups is all they have.

There's a Home Depot in town, I looked before on the website and all I found was standard residential sizes. I just dug a little deeper and found where I can custom order whatever size door I want.

I'll have to write up what I want and have my dad call some of the local places, he's retired and loves yapping on the phone.
