My garage faces south so it gets sun all day and gets ****** hot. Anyone try tinting their windows? Im thinking of tinting all my windows also to keep thieves from window shopping.

It's a good idea. They also have products so tough, you virtually can't break through it, if you are worried about vandals.

We just had two large windows in my home tinted to reduce some glare in the house. They were the type of windows that are arched at the top and about 40" x 50" cost about 200 bucks with labor and everything. Makes a big difference and you can't even tell they did it from the outside.

That is why I only installed one window in my garage, nearly 6' high. Don't have to worry about too many people peeking in. How about putting a shade on it?

One of the stores around here that sells blinds and other window stuff has these cool looking chrome window blinds. I've been eyeing them for a while now, just haven't had the time to get my window measurements and order them.

I did the windows on my house's basement garage with automotive ("Limo")window tint. I didn't like folks being able to see into the garage so easily. Worked pretty well! I see out, they don't see in.
