The guy installing my garage door said "I don't know" when I asked if putting the garage door on a single truss was an issue.

The door weighs 200lbs.

Ive been worried about hanging things from the truss because of some articles I've read here. My bottom chord is rated for 10lbs / sfqt dead load.

Mine have been hung from cabinets I made 20 years ago. Just need to make sure it is stable and secure and doesn’t allow the track to wobble/twist.

If you're worried about it throw some 2x4s above the track spanning 3-4 trusses. That'll spread the load.

Edit, I just looked at the pic again and you already have some. Don't worry about it!

Your door may weigh 200 lbs but has 4 points of attachment. So in the open position each rear hanger is carrying a maximum of 50 lbs and is near the side wall so the load is not much. The engineers that design trusses usually account for a few pounds of stuff that normally goes onto a garage Ceiling. You’ll be fine.

Unless those 2x's are attached to all the trusses using structural screws, they are really not distributing the load across multiple trusses - if they are common nails, the load is not going to be much before the nails pull free from the truss.

All that being said, it's not required to spread the load across several trusses in this case. The trusses have plenty of safety factor to account for attaching garage doors and tracks.
