I have now finished my shop with the exception of roll up doors. The doors are 9'wide and 10'tall. What would be a reasonable cost for sectional doors?

I paid $700 7 years ago for a double 16'x7' roll up...which included the upgrade to the heavier gauge of steel....that was installed.
In retrospect I wish I had also taken the option for insulated doors...not because of temp, but for the noise. The inlaws have the insulated door and it cuts down on the noise as it goes up and down by quite a bit.
As soon as my new garage is done, I'm going to replace the steel rollers with nylon wheeled rollers.

A decent insulated door installed should be around $1500 without opener (DIY much cheaper)...but get 3 quotes and see what the market is locally.

5 years ago I paid $1200 for an insulated and installed 16X7 Clopay from Home Depot. I'm sure it costs more than that nowadays.

In other words...average everything we've said...throw it in the garbage and get 3 estimates from local door companies.
I have gotten two quotes now. One is for $4600 and one was for $2700. Both were for Windsor insulated door with the "follow the roof pitch" option. I should be getting one more quote today and then I will make my decision. Really not much of a decision with these two quotes. Interesting note is that Home Depot and Lowes both wanted around $1100 per door and that is not installed. I was thinking that maybe I could save some $$ by installing them myself, but apparently I was wrong.
