Hi

Is there anyway to get fairly close approximations of the cost of garage doors of specific brands (Haas, Sawmill Creek, Clopay, etc), and models within those brand lines, online so I don't have to bother a salesman with a hundred questions when I'm not ready to buy but just in the check things out mode and to see what I can get for the money?

I'm not having any luck on finding prices...

Thanks,
Patrick

It depends on what you want. It might only be a few hundred, or it might be a few thousand. You need to give more details on what you are looking for.

Thats the salesman job. Just be upfront and honest that you are only shopping around right now. If they wont give you their time now, then dont give them your money later. Let them do their job and sell you on their product.

Im a fan of clopay doors. Their factory is local to me and they make a great door.

I am waiting on my Clopay 17.5ft door. Went with the heavier guage(24) and insulated with vinyl backing and trim package with $25 for opener installation it is $916. Three week delivery on special order. Could have got no insulation standard guage for $634. These are not windstorm doors.

the garage door opener package is no more than a $2 ; 1 1/2 inch by 12-16inch angle metal that that attaches to the door. You can save the $25 by using the one on your existing door or buy a buy piece at HD or Lowes ... .....
