Garage Doors - Insulation vs. Pre-Insulated

Hey All,

Just looking for some opinions here on the pros and cons of insulation an existing, hollow garage door yourself, versus buying a pre-insulated garage door. Overall R-value, looks, longevity, etc.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

I bought insulated doors, I felt that it was better to them them manufactured that way as to insulate them myself.

If I would have bought a place with an uninsulated door, I'd have no problem insulating it myself.
