I have lift master door openers......the style that bolts to the wall. I guess I'm wondering if I should wire them direct or an outlet like the house is done? What's your guys opinions on it? Thanks for your time.

6 of one, half dozen of another. I put mine on an outlet. One reason being is I used an outlet surge protector for the opener. Actually LM recommends the opener to be on a surge protector.

I'd say outlet, just makes it easier if you ever need to service the opener. Just unplug it..
