I also put 2 boxes about every 6'
Food for thought. Some may disagree with my reasoning here, but I put a single receptacle every 4'-4 1/2' turned horizontal. I prefer it this way because I will never have cords laying over each other. It cost more in boxes and wall plates, but well worth it to me. My boxes are at 48" to the top, but I have a wonky wall height, so I put a filler piece at the bottom, raising the 4' sheet to around 52"

That’s a good idea. Probably better than just having a box with 4 outlets every 6-8ft. What are those block recessed boxes on the right side on your wall?
My most frequently used outlet is in the ceiling.... With a pull down cord reel. It's nice not having extension cords!. But convenience outlets on the bench is a must.
I put a box every 4' at 44" above floor. All 20 amp rated receptacles. Once again I don't want extension cords unless necessary. Watch numbers to stay within code parameters for load. Be sure to balance your panel load when designing permanent loads too. I did use a GFCI recpt. at the start of each daisy chain to ensure all were protected.

Not sure I follow your question. Which pic are you referring to?
Edit: you talking about the black box behind the stove?
You an never have enough outlets . I put mine at about 52" from the floor to the bottom so a 4x8 sheet wont obstruct them when laying on it's edge.
I also put 2 boxes about every 6' , and ran 3 wire so I can have split's. 240 or 220 . very flexible that way . each wall is on separate breakers . each wall also has a 20 amp circuit as well
yup, i plan on ceiling outlets
what is code for outlets?
For you guys who have them every 4 to 6 feet...have you actually used all of them at one time or another? I think the receptacles in my garage are about 12 feet apart, and even then I know there are a couple of them that I've never plugged anything into.

The problem with running 3 wire for garage receptacles is handling the 120v GFIs unless you install 1 GFI per box.
